Reception is open from 08:15 until 16:30 Monday to Friday. It is not open during INSET days or during school holidays.

If you should need to contact one of our teaching or support staff, please call the office on 0115 956 1337 and talk to one of our administration team.

Teaching staff are obviously busy during the school day and it is unlikely that they will be able to take your call straight away.

It is important that you notify us if your child will be absent from school as soon as possible, even if we have sent them home early the day before.

Ideally absences should be reported via the Compass app under the ‘Attendance’ tab. Alternatively call 0115 956 1337 and either talk to one of the administration team, or if it is outside our opening hours, select option 2 and leave a message.

Please do not attempt to contact us via social media channels as they are not monitored.

The school day for reception to year 6 pupils starts at 09:00 and finishes at 15:30 each day. This gives a school week of 32 1/2 hours.

Our Nursery runs two sessions per day:

8:45am – 11:45am Morning session
12:25pm – 3:25pm Afternoon session
