New Starters Open Evening

If your child will be turning 5 between 1st September 2027 and 31st August 2028, it is time to start considering where your child will be going to primary school in Hucknall.

We are a happy and successful primary school, and a popular choice for parents looking for a school in the area.

Edgewood Primary School will be holding an open evening for new starters on Thursday 12th November from 4:00 PM. If you would like to attend, please contact us via email at office@edgewood.notts.sch.uk and let us know your name and how many will be attending.

Once you have decided the primary school for your child, you will need to make an application for a place via the Nottinghamshire County Council School Admissions Hub.

Applications open 2nd November 2026 and close 15th January 2027 with the National Offer Day 16th April 2027.

If you are considering Edgewood Primary School for your childs education, please have a browse of our website and take a look at our statutory information and school policies pages.
